Principal Geologist - Onshore Assets

Job Description: Responsible for experience transfer and best practice within geology and geophysics for US onshore, based on cross-asset learning Responsible for improving the geological and geophysical IT tool portfolio to ensure that it's supports efficient, and our fit for purpose work process, based on cross-asset learning Provides input to technology plan development within geology and geophysics (e.g. sweet spot prediction, in place volume estimation) based on broad understanding of cross-asset needs and knowledge of industry capabilities Provide QA/QC support to assets - peer reviews, peer assists, risk assessments, technical reviews Qualifications * Master's Degree or equivalent * Minimum ten years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry * Broad experience within reservoir geology: * Field development * Production geology * Reservoir characterization * Reservoir modelling * Geophysical interpretation * Well planning * Good overall understanding of the geologist's role in the different petroleum technology deliveries * Hands-on experience from our standard geology IT tools. Onshore experience is desirable
