Possession Assurance Manager
Location: London
Duration: 6 months
Contract Rate: Up to £280 per day

My client requires a Possession Assurance Manager to undertake a 6 month contract based in London. The purpose of the role is to defend the possession planning throughout the planning process. Attend prescribed planning meetings with a view to ensure that the programmes aspirations are met. Assist the programme with internal planning, removing clashes and offering expert advice. Proactively manage lost work and assist the programmes in re-planning to achieve no impact to schedule. Lead, manage, support and direct the programme safety critical staff.

Responsibilities:
1.Provide expert possession and worksite management input into the delivery portfolio and attend all relevant planning meetings.
2.Identify risks and mitigation measures to be applied to possession and worksite arrangements on a site-by-site basis.
3.Monitor the robustness of the possession and worksite arrangements including all associated train plans.
4.Monitor so that the work bank in regards to possessions and worksites are maintained and updated throughout the delivery so that necessary work is identified and delivered.
5.Identify changes to the infrastructure and revise work schedules and report to the Senior Possession Assurance Manager.
6.Attend Crossrail West T-5 review and provide COSS names to the TVP
7.Maintain and update the possession and worksite registers and T4 look ahead.
8.Manage the resources and delivery of worksites and programme managed possessions safely and efficiently.
9.Maintain a strong safety culture in all staff and across the delivery process.
10.Carry out safety inspections and checks in line with the project standards.
11.Carry out event reviews where required and follow up identified actions.
12.Assist in the identification and implementation of safety, quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
13.Provide out of hours and weekend working support as and when required and deputizes for the Senior Possession Assurance Manager.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
*Able to absorb and recall large quantities of information quickly
*Able to effectively communicate to all levels of people inside and outside the business
*Able to influence decision-making
*Strong problem solving skills

Essential Skills requires:
*PTS, IWA, ES, SSOWP and AOD
*2+ years experience of planning possessions
*5 years experience of infrastructure works delivery in an operational environment
*Skilled in planning techniques
*Ability to undertake risk analysis
*Good interpersonal skills for working within a Matrix organization
*Negotiation skills
*Presentation skills
*Computer Literate (MS Office, P3, QEI, PPS)

Desirable Skills
*Experience of infrastructure works delivery in an operational environment approximately 3 years
*Five years planning experience of possessions.
