Packaging Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Support packaging development organization by providing technical expertise in the development, qualification and deployment of new packaging systems for sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products
-Projects in the areas of clinical packaging, product launches and marketed products can be assigned
-Develop and qualify primary and secondary and packaging solutions (e.g. Development of test protocols and reports, execute IQ, OQ, and PQ etc.)
-Ensure compliance with international regulations (GMP, SHE, pharmacopoeias, authorities, requirements)
-Maintenance of packaging solutions (e.g. support change control records, provide impact assessments, execute requalification etc.)
-Works autonomously on complex tasks or several parallel tasks and projects
-Sets priorities and fulfills deadlines, communicate effectively and in a timely manner
-Regularly communicate project status, critical issues and events of the project to the project leader, stakeholders and line function

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor's degree, preferably with an engineering degree in packaging, materials science, or a related field
-Profound experience in packaging development
-Pharmaceutical or medical device experience mandatory
-Communication and written English is essential, knowledge of German is an asset
-Knowledge of testing methodologies and test standards including, shock, drop and vibration testing, peel force testing, barrier analysis, CCI/Sterile integrity, DIN, ISO, ISTA, USP, FDA, MHRA and ASTM standards for packaging design and validation knowledge regarding design control, documentation, risk management and processes such as, DIR, FMEA, Design Verification, and URS
