Packaging Engineer
My client is a leading global Pharmaceutical company that develops therapies to improve the lives of people around the World. Currently, they are in need of an experienced Packaging Engineer at their facility in Ireland.
The Packaging Engineer will be required to assist my client in improving the performance of their pharmaceutical packaging lines and also the installation of equipment relating to serialisation.
To be suitable for the Packaging Engineer position you will need to have the following background:
*Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
*Experience in primary packaging equipment maintenance or installation and commissioning (preferably liquids/creams)
*Excellent knowledge of high speed packing lines
*Experience of end of line systems - palletisers, vision systems etc.
*Excellent communication skills
*Able to coach individuals with less experience
*Understanding of cGMP standards and Regulatory requirements
*Knowledge of serialisation would be an advantage
Key responsibilities of the Packaging Engineer:
*Writing equipment specifications (URS/FS) in collaboration with the customer
*Develop protocols and execute (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ)
*Assist in the validation of pharmaceutical packaging equipment
*Involved in continuous improvement projects. Be proactive in suggesting improvements and play a key role in implementing improvements.
*Assist in serialisation projects to ensure the company meets the new legislation
