For our Life Science client in Basel, we are seeking a Packaging and Device Development Consultant.
Start Date: 1st September 2016
End Date: 31st December 2016

Your Role:
You will support project leaders in the area of packaging and devices in development primary packaging and/or medical devices for new oral drug products
You will lead the development of primary packaging and oral delivery within our client's oral pharmaceutical development, supporting early phase activities to commercialisation and production scale-ups
Responsible for:
Project Planning
Definition of requirements for primary packaging and delivery systems
Collaboration with internal development partners and stakeholders
Delivery assessment on primary packaging materials/processes
Evaluation and challenging of technical solutions
Support and coordination of manufacturing/supply of packaging materials for devices - for clinical supplies and production scale-up
Support cross-functional project team in the developing, reviewing and submitting regulatory dossier
Assist with child-resistance packaging testing activities
Contribute to qualification of packaging activities at launch sites
Ensure DHF are completed to high quality - also support leading risk management activities and human factory engineering activities
Your Experience:
BSc/MSc Packaging Materials/Mechanical Engineering
5+ years in packaging
Good understanding of pharmaceutical development
Experience in project management for complex projects
Development and documentation of primary packaging, drug/device combination products and medical devices
Related GMP, QA and Design Control topics
Packaging processing qualification
Packaging and device testing
Risk Management
