THIS ROLE REQUIRES PROFICIENCY WITH EITHER THE FRENCH OR DUTCH LANGUAGE.
PACKAGER/SCRIPTER/2ND LINE SUPPORT
My client is looking for a Bilingual Packager/Scripter/2nd Line Support for a contract in Brussels, Belgium.
As a Back Office Client Team Member you will be participating in Scripting, Packaging, troubleshooting & distribution and Commercial Software on Wintel Platform
DAILY TASKS:
-Scripting/Packaging of new Software
-Creating/Maintaining/Analyzing/Troubleshooting and Supporting existing Scripted Software Packages
-Writing and maintaining technical procedures related to customized Software installations
-External contacts for Packaging/Runtime/Licensing (technical) issues
-2nd & 3rd level support on client/application issues
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Expert in Windows 7 in a TCP/IP Client Server network environment
-Excellent Scripting capabilities (Visual Basic Scripting, DOS Batch Scripting, powershell)
-Good technical knowledge of Microsoft 2010 and related products
-Experience with Controlled Software Distribution in general
-Packaging skills and experience in silent setups, software vendor customization tools, Custom Actions, WiseScripts,
-In depth knowledge of the Windows registry + able to use different Windows Resource Kit tools (and techniques) to manipulate the Client Environment in a safe/controlled way
-Microsoft WINPE 3.0, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2012 and Windows Automated Installation Kit for Windows 7 (not required but a plus)
-Excellent Knowledge of application virtualization environments (APP-V) !
-Good knowledge of Active Directory/Group Policies/is a plus
PERSONAL SKILLS:
-Professional and Customer minded attitude with good communication Skills
o English language: Writing
o Dutch or French: Fluent speaking
o Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
-Team player but being able to work individually
-Eye for detail, strive to perfection and self-critical
-Analytical problem solver
-Immune to stress
-Documentation skills
DESIRABLES:
-Knowledge of the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012
-Follow up of client projects (IE10 rollout, follow-up windows 7 migration, etc)
REMARKS:
At least 5 years experience in a comparable environment and a Professional attitude is absolutely required.
