Location: Bern
On behalf of our client - in Bern, we are looking for a Oracle DBA for a new engagement who will join and support their local team.
YOUR TASKS:
PROJECT TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT:
- Oracle DB (10g, 11g, 12c) primarily on Linux and few on Windows
- Microsoft SQL (2008, 2012, 2014)
YOUR PROFILE:
- 3 + years experience in a similar role Experienced in data migrations and upgrades, schema creation and management, backup and recovery
- Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, Golden Gate
- Windows Clustering, Log Shipping, SQL Always On
- Ensuring data integrity and availability
- Performance management, tuning, tracking
- Capacity planning and reporting
- Database management, monitoring and maintenance
- Database licensing and security
- Database health, integrity and space
- Oracle DBA and (MS) SQL certifications preferred
- Fluency in English and German
