Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for Oracle DBA based in Dublin for an initial 3 Month contract.
Responsibilities:
*Generate, configure, and optimise the performance of the databases
*Support the efforts of the test lead and deployment lead to plan, manage, and deploy the application
*Operate and support the database
*Update logical and physical database designs with changes
*Document benchmarks and procedures needed to optimise performance. Ensure that all guidelines are followed
*Provide input on any design decisions for interfacing or integrating databases
*Work with the configuration manager to determine change control and impact analysis for the databases
*Plan disaster recovery and execution activities
This is an initial 3 month role that could lead to longer term prospects within the organisation as our client has no shortage of work. If this role is of interest, please apply immediately to Anthony Bates at Roc Search.
