We are currently seeking a Surgical Consultant who will review and observe the staff and physician preparation for our invasive procedures in the following areas of our Surgical Services Department: General Surgery and Cardiac Cath, C-Sections, Open Heart, Interventional Radiology. He/She will provide recommendations and process enhancements as it pertains to patient identification, procedures to be performed, time outs, and sterile field protocols.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of five or more years of experience in surgical services.
- NYS RN License
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work constructively with surgical teams
- Demonstrates problem solving and decision making ability.
