Operations Manager - Global market leader I am currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for a world- leading engineering company based in theMidlands. This is a company with an excellent, long standing reputation in the market with a good order book, strong growth plans and a great long term opportunity for the right candidate. As Operations Manager you will be leading a team of circa 100 employees through 5 direct reports and reporting to the Operations Director. As part of your role you will proactively challenge the operations organisation to achieve efficient and cost effective delivery of customer orders. Overall driving customer excellence within the organisation. We are looking for some of the best Operations Managers in the industry. You will need to show a proven track record in a management and leadership role with an manufacturing environment- ideally engineering. You will need to show successful application and implementation of Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies and budget ownership and management. Any additional manufacturing qualifications would also be very desirable. On offer for the role is a starting salary of circa £55,000 plus generous benefits package with company car and BUPA.
