On Site Validation Engineers - Wireless Solutions - Small Cell

Flint are seeking 3 to 4 Test and Validation engineers with experience of working in the 2G 3G and 4G packet core network and preferably Small Cell solutions

This assignment is a year - long fixed term (12 Month) assignment to carry out the full scope of testing and validation required for product introduction and acceptance to the Wireless packet core network.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Test design planning and execution including function Integration, IOT upto Acceptance and regression test.
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers ensuring communicated information is accurate and customer feedback is positive.
- Generation of accurate and complete customer-facing documentation.
- Deliver hands-on customer training/coaching as required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

- Good knowledge of Mobile Telecommunication systems
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix support and/or system/network administration and installations
- Experience of hands-on IP Networking and configuration
- Background of working in Mobile Telecoms either in a carrier/operator, equipment vendor or systems integrator
- Ideally experience of core (ATM) networks, MSC or SGSN/GGSN
- Ideally experience of on-site installation, integration, configuration and test
- Ideally CCNA certified
- Strong customer focus and proven ability of working directly with customers
- Strong problem solving skills - analysis/troubleshooting
- Very good written and verbal English language communications skills
- Possess a flexible approach to situations and new challenges
- Willing to demonstrate appropriate judgment, escalating issues as appropriate
- Ability to develop working relationships with Product Development, System Test and Customers while on site
- Degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject preferred
