ONSITE SUPPORTER (50%)
Experis IT Switzerland is searching for an experienced ON-SITE 2ND LINE SUPPORT (50%) to join one of their clients, a leading global consultancy based in Zurich. This exciting CONTRACTING opportunity and great for individuals seeking percentage based work to accommodate their current commitments.
THE ROLE:
The majority of the support 1st line service desk activities are based on ticket requests, currently handled by their remote off-site facilities. For all enquires that cannot be resolved at this level, they will be re-directed to the on-site GroupIT Location.
RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Help Desk activities, including but not limited to receiving and tracking users' requests, assigning priority and responsible persons and resolving requests
- On-boarding of new employees (PC preparations)
- Small equipment repairs
- Setting up of Video and conferencing system
- Warranty related topics
- Data backups, restores, recovery and storage management
- Basic network setup
- Good knowledge most basic systems administration tools and processes
- Installation and maintenance of network cabling
- Sending and receiving materials to and from non-physical on-site locations
- Responsible for stock/inventory management
Experis required: 2+ years' experience in a similar function
Languages: FLUENT GERMAN is a MUST, English a strong advantage
Location: Zurich
