APPLICATION SPECIALIST WANTED FOR OUR END CLIENT IN THE HAGUE!

Hourly rate: 60.00 Euros

YOUR JOB:
- Own the design and the functional integrity of the OMpro application. OMpro is the Alarm Management and Business Flex systems provided by Honeywell;
- Work in a global team with colleagues located on various Downstream production locations;
- Resolution of escalated urgent/complex issues to ensure business continuity. This will include coordinating coding, testing, and promotion to the production environment for all changes to the application;
- Act as functional SME in projects, and can be part time or Full time seconded to projects to help develop deployment toolkits, perform testing, deploy the product at sites and so on.
- Managing appropriate relationships with all stakeholders (both business and IT) as well as serving as a liaison to the functional support groups responsible for PI.

YOUR TASKS:
- Work on severity 1
- Ensure work done is clearly identified as run and maintain or approved discretionary;
- Ensure discretionary work completes according to business requirements;
- Perform solution quality management and sign-off for the fixes and enhancements;
- Provide consultation to End-User Support/Application Support Desk staff and Application Functional Support on ticket routing and priority
- Provide SME expertise to projects ensuring successful delivery of Ompro projects;
- Interface with delivery groups to ensure complex problems are being worked appropriately;
- Liaise with systems development staff or software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or further fulfil user requirements;
- Consult on impact of changes on the current application functionality;
- Challenge business requirements/change requests and make recommendations based on their impact to the system architecture;
- Arrange, prepare and take part in user meetings and present issues and solutions both orally and in writing;
- Interface with project teams in design of application changes;
- Submit information into knowledge system (as and when available);
- Work with other specialists and Application Functional Support to identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
- Assist in defining test plans and criteria, perform evaluation of test results and involved in integration testing;
- Coordinate and ensure user acceptance testing;
- Deliver against SLA Commitments.
