Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Job

NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR REGISTERED NURSE needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in White Plains, NY. WE ARE LOOKING PRIMARILY FOR A NP/PA TO WORK 15-20 HOURS PER WEEK FROM MID SEPTEMBER-MARCH 2016

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- NP/PA/RN

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Triage and treat, as appropriate, minor work related and non-work related injuries and episodic illnesses.
- Perform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing in accordance with company protocol.
- Provide on-site testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia.
- Provide support and case management for both work-related and non-work related conditions for the purposes of reducing illness and absenteeism.
- Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.
- Coordinate and plan health education seminars and general wellness events.
- Provide travel immunizations and guidance for employees travelling abroad for company business.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Active NP/PA/RN license in NY
- Diploma, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- 2 + years experience in Occupational Health Nursing - Nurses with experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care will also be considered
