Nurse Practitioner Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NURSE PRACTITIONER to join our client in Lumber Bridge, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The NP will use clinical judgment in conducting health assessments, making diagnosis, prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
- Develop treatment plans with independent action, health counseling, and collaboration with other health team members
- Will order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify patient's clinical needs and health care problems
- Records physical findings, provides written home-going instructions for patients
- Collaborates with physician regarding treatment and follow up care of patients
- Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Master's of Science degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Three to four (3-4) years of clinical experience as an NP
- Nationally Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support Certification
- Experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department required
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records/Computer proficiency
- Demonstrated problem-solving and work flow management skills
