ConSol Partners client, a global service provider, are looking for a Network Security Engineer who has Cisco experience and ideally holds a CCNP certification.
This is a 4 month rolling contract and they are looking for someone to start ASAP.
You must be able to speak a good level of Dutch to be considered for this position.
You are responsible for the operational management of the network.
You take care of the incident, problem and change management.
You ensure the availability, continuity, performance and security
You will provide support to projects.
You accurately takes care of the documentation and registration using available tools and writes technical procedures.
Job requirements:
You have relevant experience:
o Knowledge CCNP-level to senior network engineer
o Knowledge CCNA-level junior network engineer
You have a thorough knowledge of:
o Extensive knowledge of Cisco products:
Switches & Routers
PIX and ASA Firewalls
VPN 3000 series & ASA
o Fortinet Firewall
o Blue Coat Proxy
o Infoblox IPAM
o wireless network technology (Cisco and Meru)
o SNMP (SolarWinds) network management and monitoring tools
o SSL encryption
o Load balancing
o reverse Proxy (F5)
o IDS/IPS
o 802.1x
Soft skills:
o assertiveness and social skills, good communication
o quality-, customer and service oriented.
o pragmatic, analytical and possessed of a good resolution.
o You can work in a structured, both independently and in a team.
o flexible and stress resistant and a true team player.
o Project management
