Network Security Consultant for Multinational Client in the Hague

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SEVERAL NETWORK SECURITY CONSULTANTS TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANTS

This service encompasses all activities to assure the correct and optimal functioning of the Firewall infrastructures and NSX implementation.
-

The major operational activities of this service delivery are to maintain a fully documented correct and complete rule-base for the different redundant Firewall clusters, including VPN termination points and NSX setup.
-

All changes to the rule-bases will be implemented according to the existing Change Management process.

The Consultants shall continuously monitor the logging of the Firewall infrastructure and the NSX logs for malicious events.
-

The Consultants shall deliver and be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support and all activities related to this support, for the Security Perimeter infrastructure.

For each activity undertaken and delivered within this service, the Consultants shall check for correctness and completeness the full installed rule-bases and relevant documentation.

This includes also any activities resulting from an authorised Change Request as well as regular operational activities.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

-

University degree with strong knowledge and experience in supporting and maintenance of Firewall infrastructures and NSX implementations.
-

Strong knowledge of Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls.
-

Strong knowledge of NSX implemented on a VMware infrastructure.
-

Strong knowledge of Cisco infrastructure.
-

Strong knowledge of CyberArk and (formerly) ViewFinity.
-

Experience with MS Office, JIRA and iET.
-

It is required that the assigned resources have the certification at a minimum level of

-

JNCIS-SEC for the Juniper environment,
-

CCSE for the Checkpoint environment,
-

VMware Certified Associate 6 - Network Virtualization (VCA6-NV)

Good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.

Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).
-

A working knowledge of German and/or French would be considered an advantage.
