Network Installation Engineer

Yoh has a long-term multiyear contract opportunity for a NETWORK INSTALLATION ENGINEER to support our client in St. Charles, MO and at their locations in South America. This position will entail 25-30% international travel for the first six months, and then travel will ease off after that.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Network installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for client and customer facilities.
- Follow high level direction (general overview) with limited formal documentation.
- Think independently while adhering to corporate standards to get a task done.
- Be detail-oriented and have a strong desire to learn through different opportunities.
- Work as part of team, but also function independently as well with limited supervision.
- Display a complete understanding of IPv4 subnetting.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with the Cisco ASA Firewall including:
- Access Control Lists (ACL)
- NAT
- Site-to-Site IPSec VPN
- Security filtering
- Full understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, to include:
- Static Routing
- Stacking technologies (Cisco Stackwise, IRF, etc.)
- Link Aggregations
- Layer 2 VLANs
- Spanning Tree Protocol
- Wireless
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) experience and 802.1 authentications.
- Lightweight and standalone Cisco AP experience.
- Experience with mid-level Switches from Cisco, 3Com, H3C, and HP. Relevant models include Cisco 3750, 3560, 2960, 3Com/H3C 5500G, S3600.
- Solution design, bill of material generation, and vendor interaction on solutions built around Cisco and HP networking products.
- Solid understanding of WAN technologies is important, but detailed understanding is not critical.
- MPLS, Point to Point T1
- Position may require international travel in Central and South America.
