Network Implementation Coordinator

TRAVEL:
Occasionaly to Paris

CONTEXT:
Technical (network)/administrative function

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
Request and coordinate technical network implementations and IMACS in collaboration with:
- The selected external network providers: BP²I, Proximus, Colt, etc.
- The internal network providers: Telecom Data, Security and Media teams
- The change management team
- The various business application support organisations

Keep the network inventory up to data
Follow-up financial impact of the requested changes

EDUCATION:
Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in IT Network administration

CERTIFICATION:
A Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification is an advantage. A junior project management certification will also be considered as an asset.

LANGUAGES REQUIREMENT:
French: good mandatory
English: good mandatory

Dutch is a plus, but not mandatory for this vacancy.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Mandatory:
- Good generic, proven, understanding of the various components of a network architecture including IP routing & switching, IP security, wifi and the various network connectivity elements: (x)DSL, Fiber, PSTN, etc.
- Good understanding of the various change process activities in a dynamic network environment
- Exposure to CMDB type technical inventory tools.

Preferable:
- Good understanding about high availability and redundant network configurations and how these might impact or mitigate the impact of network changes.

REQUIRED BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Mandatory:
- Good understanding and proven experience of the various change management processes in a technical network environment
- Good understanding how technical changes might impact operational business applications and how the associated risk can be mitigated.

Preferable
- Risk analysis skills and/or methodologies
