For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring a Network Expert (m/f) Acess Networking

Contract: limited permanent contract at Nash direct, limited for 12 months with option to extend for another 12 months.

Task description:
*Development and implementation of new designs and solutions in the area of the network access and distribution layer, WIFI technology and Network access control implementations.
*Contribution to IT projects regards above mentioned network technologies in (i) the preparation phase, such as technical specification, evaluation and selection of new products and solutions, activity planning and reporting, (ii) the implementation phase, such as analyses, development, integration and testing, maintenance, release, documentation, and (iii) in the deployment phase, such as preparation, integration, roll-out to production systems, as well as operational acceptance and handover to Data Centre Operations considering procedures, processes and training of 1st and 2nd level support staff.
*Provision of 3rd level support for the client operational networks including expert assistance in restoring normal service from incidents, problem management, follow release, change management and other ITIL processes as well as day to day business accruing to Network Engineering team.
*Work in a shift system and On-call duties possible

Your profile:
*Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Engineering and design experience
*Having excellent and extensive experience with Network Routing and Switching Technology, in particular with Cisco Access Layer technology
*Having excellent and extensive hands-on practice with Cisco Secure Access solutions (Network Access Control).
*Having excellent and widespread hands-on practice with WIFI technologies.
*Specific and up to date hands-on practise Cisco Routing and Switching Products (Catalyst mandatory and Nexus optional); respective certification would be an asset
*Specific up to date hands-on practise with Cisco WIFI technologies and Cisco Prime-SW, respective certification would be an asset
*Specific and up to date hands-on practise with Cisco NAC solution Identity Services Engine
*(ISE), respective certification would be an asset
*Advanced knowledge and hands-on practise of Voice-over IP communication in particular with Cisco Call Manager would be an distinctive advantage;
*Advanced knowledge and hands-on practise of IP-traffic load-balancing with f5 big-ip platform would be an distinctive advantage
*Advanced knowledge, hands-on practise and certification of Checkpoint-FW technology would be an distinctive advantage
*Advanced knowledge of network related incident and problem resolution also by use of analyse tools, management and monitoring systems would be an asset
*Experience in Project Management of Activity Co-ordination would be an asset
*Experience in and knowledge of ITIL-Processes would be an asset
*Advanced experience in technical documentation would be an asset
*good command of English with proven drafting ability
