Network Architect/Solution Architect/Cisco/Fortinet/VPN

NETWORK ARCHITECT/SOLUTION ARCHITECT/CISCO/FORTINET/VPN/CHECKPOINT

We are looking for an experienced Solutions architect from a networking background to design solutions across Cisco, Fortinet and Checkpoint infrastructures. You will be involved in cutting-edge global projects that require high-level designs for major transformations stretching well into 2019 and beyond.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role reports to Head of IT Architecture and works as a member of a strong technical engineering team in the implementation and execution of infrastructure network projects.

Within this role you will be asked to:

- Gather requirements and produce designs for the network environment (solution architecture)
- Align with engineers of other disciplines to ensure fitting, manageable and scalable technical solutions are implemented
- Implement and manage the policies, procedures, and systems required to achieve security and networking objectives
- Participate in team meetings ensuring you understand the latest deliverables and challenges within the infrastructure organization
- Optimize current configurations and procedures by providing insights and improvements where you deem feasible
- Adhere to the current Firewall change processes and provide feedback on adjustments and optimizations within an organization in transition
- Align with the security department for approval, 3rd parties for execution of remote rulesets and change requesters

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

At least 8 years of enterprise level network and security design with a strong background in network engineering in the following products

- Checkpoint R77.20 and R77.30
- VSS
- VSX
- Multiple domains
- URL-filtering
- Fortinet 4.3 and 5.2
- Fortimanager
- FortiAnalyzer
- UTM features
- VPN technologies on
- Fortinet
- CISCO ASA
- Anyconnect
- IPSec
