Are you an experienced .NET Architect - wanting to drive forward the design, development, and implementation of customer focused gaming products.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the development of our software and services from conception through to delivery, providing the best experience to our customers as well as meeting a high technical level with regards to the design and implementation of features across our spectrum of products.
You will lead technical design sessions with development teams covering all aspects of delivering high quality products to our customers as well as proactively applying research with regards to development and prototyping and involvement in vendor evaluations.

Here is what you will be doing:

*Working closely with development managers to provide technical design input to high performance gaming platforms which provide entertainment to a massive, global audience.
*Deliver products that are highly available and scalable, with security at the forefront of your designs.
*Lead by example, follow best practices, promote industry standards and ensure our products are reliable with an excellent user experience.
*Leveraging your experience at the enterprise level to help bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements.
*Someone who stays abreast of the changes in vendor landscape providing guidance with regards to long term vendor strategy.
*Seeking opportunities to capitalize on the opportunities to improve productivity, improving time to market whilst maintaining our focus on our customers and products.
*Anticipating barriers to change and creating opportunities to remove them.

Here is what you must have:
*10+ years working with Object Orientated development languages/practices
*5+ years of .NET (c#) software development, ideally at the architecture level.
*A background in online gaming would be preferred, but we would love to hear from people who have worked in the banking or financial services industries.
*A proven track record of delivering quality solutions with a robust technical design for the enterprise.
*An understanding of continuous integration/delivery.
*Exposure to BPM solutions, such as WebMethods/Tibco etc.
*Experience with application load and performance tuning
*Exposure to virtualization under VMWare and its suite of products, experience with other virtualization products will be beneficial.
*An expert understanding of the Visual Studio suite of tools, TFS etc.
*Designing products that focus on SOA, SaaS. If you also have experience working with Software Defined Networks, then even better!
*Working with TCP/IP, load balancing technologies and other networking fundamentals
*An understanding of Windows Server 2012 and IIS. Experience with Linux will also be beneficial.
*The fundamentals of Active Directory will also be useful.

What we would also love to see:
*Exposure to the Red Gate suite of tools, such as SQL Tool Belt.
*A competent knowledge of SQL Server so that you can communicate on a technical level with the DBA team. Oracle experience will be an even bigger plus.
*An understanding of solutions delivery and how the products you will be driving forward will be built, deployed and tested.
*Any experience within Application Lifecycle Methodologies (ALM) will be beneficial.
*Usage of Enterprise Architect and other industry standard tools for modelling new functionality, design etc.
