.NET DEVELOPER

SUMMARY:

This is a 6 month contract opportunity for a .NET Developer. You will work on a specific project where your primary focus will be to help enhance and maintain an existing web application. The ideal candidates for this position will have programming experience using Microsoft technology C#, ASP.NET. Our client is headquartered in Atlanta and is ready to hire for an immediate start to join their team of 3-4 DBA's. You will need to provide demonstrated experience of the utilization of the technologies and skills required for the position as described below, as well as be able to describe projects you've worked on in the past. Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge prepaid products, services and transaction technologies to retailers, brands and consumers. They support more than 400,000 points of distribution and helps retailers build prepaid card destinations, connects brands with new markets and gives consumers a simple, secure shopping experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working directly with internal customers to develop software and integrate with internal DB's and web
- Working with various departments within the organization to understand business requirements, design, and develop solutions.
- Troubleshooting a variety of technical issues.
- Willing to be flexible and work flexible hours when necessary to achieve company and individual goals, and must work effectively.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- C# and the .NET Framework
- Object-Oriented programming
- ASP.NET
- ADO.NET and Entity Framework
- Visual Studio 2012
- SOL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, T-SQL) and SSMS 2012
- Consumption of 3rd party web services
- Works well in both team and individual development environment

PREFERRED:

- Bachelors or in related field
- DHTML (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Web service development with WCF
- Experience or conceptual knowledge of: AJAX, jQuery, REST, SSIS Packages and SSRS Reporting, PowerShell, unit testing, agile development
- Familiarity with ERD design
- N-tier development experience
- Experience integrating with payment gateways or stored value processors
- nHibernate or other ORM frameworks
