Navision Support Analyst

Our client based in North Dublin currently requires an experienced Applications Support Analyst for a long term position within their IT Department. This established company require an experienced, proactive and capable individual to provide support to their Microsoft Enterprise Applications, specifically Navision.
You will be the lead support analyst to the Retail Systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and will also ideally have experience or strong working knowledge of Sharepoint, SQL Server, C# and .Net.
As part of the role you will be required to not only provide consistent support in a large environment you will also gain exposure to upgrades and project work that is ongoing.

Please see below for additional responsibilities and competencies required:

- Provide second & third level support for Navision Retail System and related technologies such as LS Retail Data Director,
- Work with Partners & Microsoft to resolve core product bugs.
- Provide Release Management and change controls for Applications upgrades & product enhancements
- Provide technical solution delivery & Navision applications expertise
- Provide input into the technology plan and ensure that plans for assigned applications integrate & upgrade effectively
- Maximize utilization of ERP applications core functionality and simplify customizations
- Participate in the evaluation/implementation of third party software solutions
- Provide solution delivery & related application expertise for business process enhancements.
- Project Management of all assigned projects to ensure each initiative is fully planned and delivered on time and within budget
- Strong Technical skills in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Retail) - NAV Application Server, LS Retail Data Director, Retail POS Tills, Handheld Mobile Devices
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases
- SQL Scripting, NAV CAL Programming
