Mobile Packet Core Network Engineer - Thailand

Flint is an International Telecoms Services Company supplying mobile packet core services to Tier one Mobile Operator Networks.
Flint Consulting Ltd. are looking for Mobile Packet Core engineers for a contract placements in Thailand. Candidates must speak the local language.
The successful candidates will work as part of a team with responsibility for the Integration, Commissioning, Testing and the support of data traffic on 2G, 3G and LTE networks.
Candidates with experience with NSN, Ericsson, ZTE, Huawei or Cicso mobile packet core will be considered and Flint will provide extensive product training, including LTE.
Successful candidates will have knowledge and experience of the following:
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a GSM/GPRS/3G or 4G Packet Switching Environments.
- Experience of 3G, 2G, GPRS, EDGE and wireless Internet technology.
- In depth knowledge of data protocols/functions (TCP/IP, Radius, MPLS, WLAN).
- Experience in nodes: SGSN, GGSN, HLR, MSC, IPS, and MGW.
- Have practical experience of first level technical support and onsite installation and configuration, including following defined procedures and completing testing and installation reports.
- Have 'hands on' experience in Mobile Packet Core Network.
- Design and development experience in a telecoms environment, preferably mobile network.
- Experience in Diagnosis/packet analysis using tcpdump, snoop, wireshark etc.
- Previous experience of tier 1 vendor products required (eg NSN, Ericsson, Huawei)
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL ALSO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
- Good process knowledge and working standards & initiative
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Innovative approach with the ability to overcome obstacles
- Ability to give strong direction to projects while working well within project teams
- Comfortable interacting with engineers, senior-management, customers and peers
- Passion and drive to increase customer experience/satisfaction
ROLE OUTLINE
As a Mobile Packet Core engineer you will be required to work with
- High Level Design
- Low level Design
- Integration and commissioning
- Support and troubleshooting
