Mobile IP Optimisation Expert
Our client a leading Telecoms company have a need for a Mobile IP Optimisation Expert for a project based in Spain.
As the Mobile IP Optimisation Expert duties will consist of the following:
- Participate in Performance Audits and issues investigation based on TEMS/XCAL and monitoring point's exports.
- Type of tests are typically UL/DL transfers, web browsing to a Kepler server, top visited web pages, video download, pings, etc.
- This may also include analysis of new services, like VoLTE etc.
- Expertise in TCP is a MUST, strong knowledge and experience in TCP-based analysis.
- Able to provide parameter change recommendations for optimisation
- Spanish speaking is a must.
Examples on Use Cases analysis to be delivered:
- Investigations on route-NAT and simultaneous sessions.
- Out of Order issues, or other TCP phenomena, in the mobile network. Collection of traces in all network nodes to discover what is the network elements responsible for the issue (ie require knowledge of all Network Elements) plus great knowledge of TCP.
- Analysis of new services, in case degradation's are observed, then proposition for changes and improvements, for instance in the case of congestion protection algorithms requested to the vendors.
Specific skills/experience:
IP/TCP optimisation expert
Strong knowledge of mobile data network architecture and User Plane applicative layers.
A minimum of 5 years' experience as an IP Optimisation Expert, working in a Telco environment.
2G (GSM), 3G (UMTS) and LTE experience.
