High degree of numeracy and analytical skills required as well as being Customer and outcome focused

Advanced skills in MS Excel essential.

Advanced skills in MS Access and Business Objects XI and advantage

Required Skills/Experience

#9679; Previous experience of providing intelligence to assist in the planning and commissioning of services.

#9679; Relevant experience of data collection, statistical analysis and interpretation from a wide range of sources.

#9679; Detailed knowledge of applications of a range of software packages to facilitate the recording, collation analysis of data

#9679; Experience of Database interrogation software such as Business Objects and the use of Mapping Software such as Map Info.

#9679; Ability to produce complex and detailed analytical information to support decision making.

#9679; Knowledge of information governance, the need for confidentiality and the Data Protection Act.

#9679; The ability to work under a high degree of pressure including meeting unpredictable deadlines and dealing with conflicting demands.

#9679; Experience of producing and manipulating complex data sets and interrogating information to develop recommendations for senior managers.
