My client is looking for an all round strong MDS Infrastructure support Consultant to work on a 6 month contract in London. Support skills involved are ....

* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Good communication skills/- Logical thinker/problem solver who is self motivated and a strong contributor within a team.
* Ability to work Independently or as part of team.
* Good time management skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Experience of installing, configuring and administering Microsoft based software products.
* Strong knowledge of key areas including operating systems, networking technologies, security standards.
* Network knowledge and experience in the following areas ; LAN & WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, Multi cast, Internet technologies, Proxies, Firewall technologies.
* Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg operational and technical support experience desirable.
* A very good understanding of the following Market Data desktop products (not in order of importance)
