MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Reston, VA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experienced with Master Data Management (MDM) assessment, data governance and implementation.
- Experienced with Data governance, stewardship best practices for current and future state data management strategy and governance frameworks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Developing strategic approaches and methodologies to solve client issues around Data Governance
- Developing and implementing solutions that promote operational excellence
- Governance & Stewardship best practice, assessment, and implementation across Information Management Master Data domains

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Managing and coordinating stakeholder interactions to support data governance and data management evaluation, design, and implementation
- Providing data management, organization, capacity planning, guidance on development in accordance with industry's best practices and selection of analysis tools.
- Experience handling responsibility for data quality assessment and data troubleshooting, performance monitoring, tuning, backup/recovery, script development, and analysis of new technologies to affect cost savings and performance/availability improvements
- Managing daily activities of data management to include advanced technical issues such as Extract Transform Load (ETL) performance tuning
- Providing a strategic data governance planning and direction for various types of organizations.
- Experience in database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle.
- Ability to communicate with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators.
