Marketing Analytics Consultant - SAS or SPSS - Bristol/Bath

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SPSS or SAS Analyst working for an outsourced sales and marketing company on a 6 month contract. The SPSS or SAS Analyst will be a key figure within the Service Team and will have technical and systematic understanding of the data and marketing environment.

The SAS/SPSS Analyst will produce key reports and vital pieces of insight and have good data mining skills. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills as they will be pulling together insightful presentations with business focused recommendations and to be able to present back to a non technical audience.

Essential Skills and experience:

- 2 years experience in within a data driven marketing analytical environment.
- SAS or SPSS experience - entry level is minimum requirement.
- Strong IT software knowledge
- Experience of customer segmentation & database marketing principles.
- Data mining skills
- Knowledge of Gap Analysis
- Strong understanding of statistics in the context of marketing analytics.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Advanced Microsoft Excel)
- Marketing discipline / background
