Manager Clinical Development

A Leading multinational Pharmaceutical company are seeking to appoint a Manager of Clinical Development to manage and progress drugs and devices through all stages of development. This position is an office based position in Surrey.

Main Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to):

* To design, initiate and run clinical studies in line with ICH GCP standards

* To select and evaluate contractors from CROs, SMOs, central laboratories and contract monitors

* To prepare and review all clinical study documents, agreements, protocols, CRFs, labels and reports

* Budget responsibilities

* Responsible for the supervision of all outsourced tasks and services, and to manage the relationships with contractors

* Coordination of clinical supplies distribution

* To prepare and review SOPs

Skills/Experience:

* Educated to Degree level in life sciences/science

* Extensive relevant experience within clinical development

* Excellent and demonstrable experience of Clinical Project Management within a CRO or Pharma environment

* Experience of pharmaceutical/biotech project management in Phases II/III oncology and/or critical therapeutic areas is highly desirable

* Experience of working within a matrix environment, ideally across countries

* Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects
