MY DUTIES:

- Responsible for pledge conversion controlling, the “sources of funds” reconciliation of Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and financial performance and oversight reporting, or cost basing to enhance cost efficiency and value optimization, “uses of funds” reconciliation of ALM and financial performance and oversight reporting.
- Responsible for the consolidation and presentation of Financial Performance Report (Management Reporting) for senior management, Audit and Finance Committee, and the Board; also responsible for the assigned aspect of reconciliation of Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and works closely with the Accounting Team and Treasury Team to reconcile the financial statement view and management reporting view for key financial figures in ALM.
- Ensure integration of value for money and efficiency principles through Asset Liability Management, Uses of funds and Portfolio Optimization as well as collaborate with Access to Funding, and the Strategic Initiatives Coordination Office and ensures evidence-based prioritization of available resources to drive absorption to maximize impact and enable financial performance and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate and proactively engage with the Business Owners and other internal stakeholders in assessing funding risks, opportunities and impact of

operational challenges for optimal financial performance in the mobilization and utilization of financial resources as well as identify and escalate emerging risks and red flags impacting the overall ALM and financial performance of the Organization along with having a solid understanding of management reporting, value for money, cost modelling and efficiency.
- Responsible for Financial Performance Reporting and Calculation, Pledge Conversion Controlling, Cost Basing and Stakeholder Management.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Advanced Degree in Finance (Masters in Finance or MBA Finance) and/or a professional qualification (such as a Certified Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Fédération des Experts-comptables Européens).
- Demonstrated progressive experience in financial management, financial controlling, analysis, obtained with an international organization, multilateral aid agency, or a multinational private-sector establishment.
- Experience in leading financial controlling processes (budgeting/forecasting / management reporting etc.) and an understanding of “Board-Level” reporting requirements through an operational leadership role to drive decision-making.
-Ability to develop and instigate new requirements and improvements in controlling methodologies including reporting and analysis of comple financial transactions for an international aid agency.
- Understanding of the analytical techniques related to assessment of quantitative and qualitative information and understanding of the organisational and business mechanisms; operating knowledge of pragmatic and practical solutions that help translating ideas into specific plans, goals and KPIs.
-Due diligence: Ensuring an appropriate spend of money by means of making informed decisions and initiating actions only after investigating all facts conditions, rules, laws, regulations, financial considerations, or any other such matters.
- Expertise in financial controlling with ability to quickly and comprehensively identify cost inefficiencies and value for money financial risks.
- Strong skills in financial analysis and management reporting and strong understanding of financial management systems including transformation and continuous improvement of financial planning tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Advanced Excel and Power Point, ERP Systems.
- Ability to multitask, manage and to delegate, as appropriate combined with an excellent knowledge of English.
