* Locum Dentist required for a full-time maternity cover role in Northam in North Devon.

* Covering a contract of 8000 UDAs per annum (666 UDAs per month). Private work also available.

* Surgery available Monday - Friday between 09:00 - 17:00.

* Start date: 14/07/2014

* Duration: This role is available for 6-9 months

* Retention bonus available for dentists able to stay 6 months or longer

* Practice: Northam Dental Surgery is a 7-surgery practice with bright modern surgeries. We have recently completely refurbished the practice so the surgeries are up to the standards of a brand new practice. The practice is situated just out of the village centre and is less than a mile from the main A39, giving good access to nearby Barnstaple. This position is located in the stunning Devon countryside, Northam is situated just a mile away from the beach, 30 minutes away from Exmoor National Park and Zoo and an hour away from Exeter. If you are thinking about moving with the family then the area boasts a number of excellent schools with Ofsted giving an overall rating of 'Good', with its peaceful countryside it's a great area to come and settle. All the dentists within the practice have been there for over three years and this offers a rare opportunity to join a recently refurbished and modernised practice.

North Devon is home to a number of stunning stately homes set in glorious grounds, and some of the county's best surfing beaches for adrenaline junkies. It too has its own distinct character, and the dramatic beauty of Exmoor is the perfect location to go hiking or mountain biking. North Devon's dramatic coastline has given birth to a new pastime for the more adventurous - Coasteering. If you want to get up close and personal with both the craggy landscape and some of the local wildlife, then Coasteering is a great way to experience the drama and thrill of North Devon.
