Locum General Practitioner - General Practice

Our client has a job vacancy for a Locum General Practitioner (GP) to work within a General Practice based in Kent. This vacancy is for a salaried/permanent position and the pay rate for this role is up to 72,000 and Pension pa (pro rata).

The chosen GP will be required to work 20 hours each week.

Duties -
In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties;
- Carrying out telephone consultations.
- Visiting patients at home.
- Checking and signing repeat prescriptions.
- Dealing with queries.
- Completing paperwork and reports.
- Corresponding in a timely fashion.

Requirements -
You must have relevant qualifications, be professionally registered with the GMC and be eligible to work in the UK. You must have a minimum of 6 months UK experience working in primary care in an area with significant health problems. Also experience in providing primary care in an out of hours practice.
