LIMS Project Manager - Biotech Laboratory

Masentó are working with an industry leading Pharmaceutical client with clinical facilities in Switzerland who are embarking on improving their Database and Information Management systems for their biotech and R&D business globally, and so require an experienced Project Manager in this field to help define the right solution or their business.

This will be a 12-month contract based in Switzerland with a view to start immediately. More details are below.

Objective

Provide RDMS with a solution (that could be a set of tools and processes) that will, control data acquisition, accelerate access and data evaluation, provide high reporting capabilities reducing the need to prepare extra documentation. The system will ensure highest level of compliance for all activities including the production of supporting Quality documents. Data integrity is one of the project's major objective even when the activities are not considered GMP.

Expectations:

- Full proficiency in English.
- Take full ownership of the project deliverables.
- Provide realistic timelines and budget, owns the project documentation.
- Ensure continuous liaison and when required endorsement from the steering committee and stakeholders.
- Integrate with the IT portfolio of activities and Goals.
- Gather and consolidate users' requirements from project team processes (starting from the processes to the tools).
- Provide guidance based on experience to avoid reinventing the wheel. Ability to propose reliable solutions for the biotech labs.
- From the User Requirements define what tools could/should be implemented.
- Define a strategy including data protection and data integrity throughout the whole program
- Organize the vendor selection
- Take full ownership of the implementation of the tools
- Keep a pragmatic approach to avoid uncontrolled scope
