Level I Help Desk Technician

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a LEVEL I HELP DESK TECHNICIAN to join our client in Liberty, MO.

THIS POSITION IS A GREAT ENTRY INTO OUR IT DEPARTMENT.

- Working Conditions:
- Casual (Jeans) office setting
- The employee will be at their desk all day answering phone calls, emails, and working in our Service-Now ticketing system. Some experience with phone support would be nice. We definitely want someone who is able to quickly learn on the job since we will need to bring them up to speed on our systems fast.
- CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH THEIR HOURS. THEY WILL WORK 8-4:30 WHILE THEY ARE BEING TRAINED BUT THEY COULD END UP WITH A 6 AM - 2:30 PM SHIFT .

- Copier, FAX - Frequently

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under moderate supervision, this position is responsible for providing hardware and software telephone support to Field and Corporate personnel for desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
- The job involves troubleshooting and resolution of hardware/software error messages, answering questions on (CRM, Routing, and Financials) work, and resolving Truck and Handheld issues, etc. All cases must be logged into our proprietary system for future resolution or follow up, and also responsible for logging all solutions.

Job Qualifications:
- One to two (1-2) years of experience of IT helpdesk required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications
- Ability to visually adjust to PC and print material
- Ability to multi-task
- Individual must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- A two (2) year degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field is preferred
