Level 3 Nursery Nurse

Simply Education is the chosen provider for Bank and Supply Staff for many local nurseries in Cambridgeshire. Our partnership Nurseries have continued to grow , so we are now recruiting Level 3 qualified, experienced and professional Nursery Nurses who are able to work in St Neots, Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely.

Becoming one of our registered Nursery Nurses will provide the opportunity to work in a variety of nursery and pre-school settings. Our Nurseries will often request that staff who have made a good impression return again for continuity, allowing individuals to build their professional reputation, creating the possibility of long term or permanent employment.

Nursery Nurses are able to select their availability to work on a weekly basis offering flexibility and the opportunity to tailor work around any other commitments they may have such as study, part-time work and family commitments.

Working as a Nursery Nurse for Simply Education requires qualified, professional and friendly individuals who are able to adapt quickly to their surroundings and arrive to work ready to get stuck in.
To be a successful Nursery Nurse, applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:
Hold a Level 3 Nursery qualification (either equivalent to or higher than a Level 3 CACHE)
Have proven experience working in a Nursery and/or Pre-school setting
Be able to supervise and engage with children during activities designed and set by nurseries, encouraging learning and development at all times
Have an excellent understanding of the developmental needs of infants and children and be able to demonstrate this on bookings
Be able to adapt with ease to the daily routine of nurseries
Be able to take direction and provide support as required by the Nursery Manager and other members of staff
Be aware of the high profile of the Nursery and to ensure that high standards are upheld at all times
Have an outstanding awareness of safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity
Be professional at all times in both appearance and mannerisms
