My top tier investment banking client are currently seeking a Kondor developer. This role involves provision of development, and some business analysis, in the Global Front Office system (Kondor+) and support areas within Financial Markets. This primary involves development and customization of the Kondor+ Platform and related interfaces. This role will include identification and understanding of business needs, interpreting requirements and specifications from Business Analysts, system development, testing, and post live support.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
. To develop complex Kondor+ SQL solutions and Perl scripts.
. To discuss issues and problems with users, and ensure an understanding of the business needs.
. Design system driven solutions to business issues and write technical and some functional specifications
. Testing of new versions of software, conducting test plans, analysing results and drawing conclusions with the user representatives.
. Completion of business processing rules and other system related documentation, including architecture and support documentation.
. Work with other developers to assist in the translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
. Development of reports, customisations and tools for business users, including the understanding of calculations used in these areas.
. Provide third line cover for the support team where required.
. Perform localisation, identification and rectification of technical issues.
. Provide specific analysis for new project or new products implementation onto the core FX/MM trading systems architecture.
. To work with Business Analysts to understand the business needs and design potential solutions.
. To suggest, analyse and recommend alternative methods for delivery of solutions.
. To introduce and conform to best practice processes.
. Willingness to work long hours during key periods to meet project deadlines.
. Flexibility to take on different tasks and roles as required in project work.
