Junior Systems Administrator

CAPITA LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES are looking for an outgoing and ambitious JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR to join their close-knit team in Shepton Mallet for an initial 3 month fixed-term contract.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the operation of a help desk providing telephone and email support for the financial system used by 3 local district councils; Mendip, Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire. Providing first line support, you will join a team of 4 who take an average of 800 calls a month.

We are looking for a JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR who has a genuine interest in and understanding of IT, with the ambition to progress into an IT focused role. A computer-literate team player who can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
