Junior IT Business Analyst (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Performing requirements analysis in relation with IT PM and Business appointed representatives
-Liaising with regional IT contact persons to understand the bigger picture
-With an autonomous approach, defining scope and running data analysis campaigns (using SQL query tools) to verify project's functional and performance assumptions at minimal cost and without impacting business
-Serving as a liaison between IT PM and development team
-Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
-Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
-Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
-Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
-Contributing to the development of test plans and test scripts, and performing test execution as required
-Performing Technical IT and user acceptance testing
-Monitoring application performance
-Updating, implementing and maintaining IT procedures
-Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
-Experience in large sophisticated organization with high volume/high transaction environment; familiarity with international environments is a plus
-Team player mentality
-Good English skills; German and French skills are welcome
-Ability to build respected working relationships with the Business, IT colleagues in country, and in regional teams
-Pronounced adaptability, including the essential skill to manage a large number of simultaneous investigation tasks on multiple applications
-Ability to work with large amounts of data (facts, figures, and number crunching) and ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions
-Ability to present findings, or translate the data into an understandable document
-Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas
-Documentation skills : able to report complex data analysis in simple diagrams easy to understand even for non-specialists
-Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
-Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
-Adept at SQL queries, report writing and presenting findings
