Our direct client is looking to add a JavaScript Developer/Senior Software Engineer to their team! The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to a number of projects. These projects include both new application development for the client and improvements to the underlying platform in order to streamline future development, support integration of third party components and to share our work with established open source communities.

JavaScript Developer/Senior Software Engineer will work collaboratively with technical leadership and users in order to design, code and deploy tools and platforms that will be used across the community and shared nationally. JavaScript Developer/Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for web application and user interface development, deployment, maintenance, and improvements.

JavaScript Developer/Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities include both server and browser side code development. Additional responsibilities include developing interfaces for use by researchers, policy makers, and members of the public. This person will work with a variety of teams on a number of projects and will be expected to analyze requirements, develop designs, perform unit tests and support ongoing QA efforts.

JavaScript Developer/Senior Software Engineer requirements:

BA/BS, preferably in computer science. The incumbent will have at least 7-year-experience in web application and at least 5 years of professional experience in Java, Spring, Ibatis/Hibernate, Ext JS, CSS, JQuery or similar Javascript frameworks and solid database skills.
