This is an initial 4 months contract (until 16th August 2013) with possible extensions, working in an International, multi-cultural environment in The Hague, Netherlands

Role description:
- Development, test and integration of web Front End application in a Javascript/JQuery framework;
- analysis of the user requirements and identification of implementation solutions
- liaison with the project team for testing and acceptance
- provide support related to Front End aspects, test and acceptance phases
- writing technical documentation
- support the project manager for technical decisions related to the Front End

Essential Technical skills and experience required:
- Modern web client development: Javascript programming, jquery, Ajax
- HTML, CSS
- Json, XML
- Web services
- JBoss Application Server
- Java programming
- Versioning (CVS, SVN)
- Maven
- Eclipse IDE
- Pragmatic and result-oriented
- Diplomatic, positive and open-minded
- Ability to come up with ideas and proposals for enhancements to the products
- Proven experience in agile project management methodologies (Scrum).
- Good communication skills in English and ability to write technical documents
- Good team player

Desirable skills:
- Development of extensions for Firefox
- Javascript library for 2D graphics such as d3.js or protovis
- Deployment and production-level operation
- Analytical skills, including data analysis skills
- Test driven development in an Agile environment
- Operating Systems: Linux
- Jenkins Continuous Integration server
- Nexus artefact repository manager
- BPM and BPMN

3-4 months contract (initially, extensions available), €350 per day, based in the Hague
