Java Technical Lead (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Further develop a Banking application in the Portfolio Management area
- Coach the other developers in order to utilize individual expertise efficiently
- Implement high quality, reusable and well tested software solutions observing best practices and principles 
- Participate actively in peer reviews, code walkthroughs etc. 
- Design and contribute to architectural decisions and deliver accurate detailed estimations
- Write high quality technical specification working closely with business partners and requirement engineers

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong Full Stack development background with the ability to still be hands-on when required
- Experience in solution design and architecture in an enterprise context
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming patterns and principles with very good Java know-how
- Strong software design and modeling skillset including UML know-how 
- Knowledge of Databases and SQL (preferably Oracle) 
- Experience of best practices in test-driven development, continuous integration, source code control
- Experience of implementing UI components and software solutions using JavaScript (Typescript and Angular 2+ is a very strong plus)
- Familiarity with multi-browser and multi-device programming and debugging
- Solid Banking know-how is an advantage: Financial Instruments, portfolio theory, portfolio management processes, advisory process and regulations 
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must and German is a plus
