Java/T-SQL Developer
Our global multinational banking end-client based in Geneva is now looking for a Senior Java and T-SQL Developer. The contract will be offered to candidates that can show a strong command of technical areas and ideally financial business experience.

English speaking is mandatory, other EU languages are assets.

Duration: Initially 6 months with highly probable extension

THE ROLE:
*Work on the basis of functional specification to create design and technical specification artifacts.
*Deliver Java and SQL code to deliver on new feature requests combined with strong unit test cases to be used by automated build process'.
*Work with offshore development centers for some aspects of the duties.
*Expect a culture of pair programming and be familiar with SCRUM/XP principles.

YOUR PROFILE:
*Excellent command of BOTH Java and Transact SQL
*Minimum 5 years' experience
*Ability to write functional and technical specifications documents
*Ability to integrate within a team and adapt to organization in place
*Knowledge of the financial services industry is a strong asset
*Strong analytical skills a must
*Good written and spoken technical English
