Java Swing Developer - eFX Options

A Java Swing Developer is required by a leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf. The successful developer will work within the Options Trading team and be involved in the development and evolution of the e-Commerce platform for FX Options.

The team is actually a cross asset team including FX, Rates, Emerging Markets and Commodities/ Precious Metals. The team is well known throughout the bank as being one of, if not the top technical team and the platform is ranked as "best in class".

The team is looking to on-board another asset class to the platform, which is the driver behind the upcoming development work. Candidates need to hold extensive experience of multi-threaded Java Swing, working on low latency/ real-time systems and being involved in the full development lifecycle.

This is a business facing role with regular sessions held with the sales and trading desks so previous front office experience would be beneficial. This is a long term contract position, paying up to £550 per day.
