Java - Flex Developer - EC1

Senior Flex developer required to join a Post Trade and Clearing Development team within a leading financial organisation in London.

The team operates using matrix-management organisation as work is organised on a project basis. With projects last between three weeks to over year.
The primary focus of the Flex developer is to deliver fully tested feature additions, new development and code maintenance releases of the RIA applications.

Essential Skills:
The developer is expected to have the following knowledge, skills and experience on appointment:

*Good knowledge of Java development technology
*Good team-working skills, able to work as part of a team, with other developers and testers.
*Structured approach to application development.
*Able to explain application design options in written form.
*Able to identify acceptable testing strategies for new software development.
*Some knowledge of Oracle Technologies and Linux
*3 years Adobe Flex V4x
*Blaze DS/Adobe Livecycle DS/Tomcat

Desirable
The following skills and experience are desirable but if not present can be developed while in the post:
*Business critical software development and implementation in financial organisations;
*Investment banking, derivatives markets or trading of other financial products;
*Knowledge of Spring Framework
