Java Expert - real-time Equities System - NYC Bank- 130k

My client, a major investment bank in New York City, is in search of a mid-level java expert to join its equities trading IT team. This elite IT team provides electronic access to the world's major equities and futures exchanges to the bank's traders and clients. This is a business critical team that supports order management systems, electronic trading front-ends, algorithmic trading engines and direct connectivity to over 40 exchanges. To qualify for this position you must have: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science - 5 years + experience developing server-side large-scale applications in Core Java - 5 years multi-threading experience - Experience working in a major financial institution (equities is highly preferred) This is an AVP level position and the person needs to be a self-starter who is ready to roll up the sleeves and start developing on day 1!
