JAVA EE/SE DEVELOPER - SWITZERLAND - GERMAN SPEAKING - £500-£600 A DAY

My Client is a Software and IT Consultancy based in Berne in Switzerland. They deal with many prestigious European clients providing software solutions which they develop, customise and maintain. They are currently recruiting for a number of Java Developers to come on board on a contract basis and work on development and maintenance projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Develop, implement and maintain software applications on the basis of technical and operational requirements

DELIVERABLES:

- Building Releases (in the sense of Maven based on SVN and GIT
- Creating partial releases (patching and releasing of individual applications, or sub- systems)
- Maintenance of CI Jobs, WebSphere configurations, WebSphere developer profiles
- Maintenance work on POMs over the entire application landscape across (Count up versions, inputting of new applications...)
- Care of the POM hierarchy
- Deployment and deployment of the artifacts for higher Stages
