One of my leading financial services clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a JAVA DEVELOPER for a long term contract paying excellent rates. This is an indefinite assignment. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

THE JAVA DEVELOPER WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Bachelor/Master degree in a technical IT training (Computer Science or related)
- Knowledge and experience with Java/Hibernate/Spring
- Knowledge of high performance applications (high load)
- Knowledge and experience with Web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Experience with Shell Scripting and possibly python.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tooling (Jenkins, Nexus/Artifactory, Git, etc )
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development and DevOps process.
- Studious, ambitious, progressive
- Strong communication skills, team player. You are an expert and analytical developer.

THE JAVA DEVELOPER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You work closely with your colleagues Squad developing and testing this software.
- The teams within our organization use the Scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. Thus we not only at the forefront of concrete innovations in the IT field but also in the process that is followed to design, build and test applications as well as take in the process of managing, controlling and ultimately decommissioned applications.
- In this way, we work continuously to optimize the service of our customers and to further strengthen our leading position in the market.
