Java Development Manager - Reading - Berkshire - Immediate Start - Contract

Contract Java Development Manager / Team Lead, £ 350-400 per day, Reading, Berkshire. A well known financial service company is seeking a Java Development Manager / Team Leader on a 6 month contract. To be considered you must have hands-on Java and have worked on web based projects.

Candidates will only be considered if you have all of the following;

* Team lead / management experience including; delegating work, mentoring and performance management
* Java development experience
* Web based development
* Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities include;

• Line management of direct reports in the front-end and integration J2EE development team
• Analyse and enhance the existing Software Development Lifecycle Process
• Foster and promote innovation within the J2EE team
• Provide technical and project management support to project teams
• Provide input into the strategic development roadmap
